Nicholas seems more and more amused with himself and his funny antics lately. He certainly acts up even more when Jennifer and Bridger are around! A few weeks ago (when Jen was still around, sniff sniff) they came over to play and Nick thought it would be funny to put a paper bag on his head. Oh, the things that amuse an almost 3-year-old. He played peek-a-boo under it and laughed so hard we thought he might get winded. What a weird kid!

(Jennifer had to hold him down here, he was laughing so hard!)
Then on Friday we went downtown to the greenbelt for the Youth Jam. It's a really great free festival for kids, to get families out into the community and enjoy our town. Nicholas had fun painting this 50-foot xylophone, then rocking out on it.

Yet another manifestation of his "baby monk-ness". There were old oil drums and tin cans set up as a kind of 'trash-can orchestra' for the kids to bang away on with kitchen utensils and stuff. But my sweet little nicholas found this broken rake (then tried to fix it) and proceeded to rake the grass in front of the setup. He even found another rake and persuaded me to help him. I can't help but laugh at him sometimes.
Ahhhh, bubbles- something clean at last! ;)

Nick really loved these puppies that had been rescued by a local rescue/adoption foundation. Maybe one day, when he can scoop the poop himself!
The self-timer shot... well, we tried!
