nick turned 5.
yikes.
tyler is still 2. don't worry.
grandpa took the birthday boy out for a special breakfast, just the menfolk. he is so blessed to have incredible grandparents who live so close.
after a great start to the day, we headed out to the water park and had some fun in the sun.
nick went all the way up to the top.
then came all the way down.
on the way home he took a little nap....
so he had enough energy to eat his cake.
then on the following saturday we celebrated with friends and family.
we had the most fun party yet. we had about 15 kids come, and did our best to keep them entertained. daddy rented a bouncy house,
we had cotton candy and snow cones.
we had carnival games and a prize table.
and now he starts kindergarten.
yikes.

nice! I would've come if I'd known a bouncy house would be involved! :) actually sending myself into labour down in Idaho probably would not have been the smartest thing I have ever done... but let me know for next time, eh! :)
