In the Stierle family, there is a tradition of going out on Christmas Eve to hunt for Santa. This year was Nicholas' first time and we had so much fun! We piled in the car and kept our eyes peeled for any sight of Rudloph's nose or the jolly man himself. We kept pointing out red lights in the sky for Nicholas and pretty soon he got caught up in it, saying "Santa that way!" or "Find Santa!". When we pulled back up to Granny and Grampy Stierle's home, Santa was already inside waiting for Nick and Tyler.
At first Nicholas was pretty freaked out but as soon as he realised Santa had presents, he warmed right up! We had a great night and on the way home and for a few days after, each time we got in the car Nicholas would say "Find Santa!". Good times....
P.S. I think there were some in the family that will be on the naughty list next year....
